Delete your account

From inside the app

This is the fastest route, and it takes effect immediately.

1. Open MyTripStore and go to the Profile tab.
2. Tap Privacy & Security.
3. Tap Delete Account, then confirm.

If you cannot open the app

Email privacy@mytripstore.in from the address associated with your account, with the subject “Account deletion request”. We will verify the request and confirm by reply once it is scheduled. If we cannot confirm you own the account, we will say so rather than delete someone else’s data.

What happens next

The request starts a 30-day grace period. Your account is deactivated straight away, and you can cancel at any point before the window closes — from the same screen in the app, or by replying to the confirmation email. After 30 days the deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.

Want a copy first? Export everything from Profile → Privacy & Security → Export My Data before you request deletion. It is not recoverable afterwards.

What is deleted

• check_circle Every trip, including its recorded GPS path
• check_circle Every place log, note and voice transcript
• check_circle Every AI-generated story and draft
• check_circle All photos, videos and audio you uploaded, and the derived versions of them
• check_circle Any share links you created, which stop resolving immediately

What is kept, and why

A record that a deletion happened

An audit entry with the date and the action, kept so we can demonstrate the request was honoured. It contains no trip content.

Backups, for up to 35 days

Database backups roll off on their own schedule. Your data is not restored from them, and they expire without intervention.
